Michael for Model Number WTW57ESVW1 I'm having a problem with my machine overfilling. It seems as though i need a new temp switch WPW10248240. We had a rodent get in there and chew into every hose so those have been replaced. The pressure hose seems to be fine, I can see water going into the hose from the dome but it fills on to the top now matter what size the load is. If the water never stops, does that effect the timer from moving to the wash cycle and agitating? If I manually turn the timer it will start agitating but with the water constantly running the timer doesn't advance. I don't want to replace more than necessary. I don't see any signs of wire damage. Also, will any same sized PVC tubing work for the air pressure hose? Thanks in advance!
Answer Hello Michael. WP353244 is the hose you need to use. As for the issue, it does sound like the switch needs to be replaced. Unless, your raising the lid during the cycle. If you do this, even in the fill cycle, the switch will reset and fill all the way to the top. This is the way the unit is designed. Read More...
