Jim for Model Number MVWC300VW1 My maytag washer has a new fill valve assembly and it runs hot instead of cold for the rinse. I checked the hoses to make sure they weren't crossed. I checked the wires to make sure they're connected. If there was a bad connection I wouldn't think it would put any water in at all. Do you think it's the temperature control switch or the timer? Thanks.
Answer Jim, it would be recommended that the wires to the valve are checked to ensure they are set properly. The brown wire with red tracer should be set on the hot water solenoid. If it is, then the failure would be in the water temperature selector WPW10202616. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, May 20, 2020
