Bk for Model Number MSD2456DEB Maytag Plus MSD2456DEB Two problems. One resolved. 1) Water on floor in front of appliance. Found water and ice under lower basket in freezer and ice buildup in the ‘airway’ leading to the refrigerator section. From a similar experience several years ago, I cut off power, emptied freezer & refrigerator and let unit totally defrost. After cleaning the interior, I reconnected power and, when satisfied things were working properly, reloaded food in both sides. (Resolved) 2) An hour or so later, I tried to get a glass of ice and water from the dispenser and discovered nothing related to the dispenser was functional. No lights. No response. No nothing. I tried the lock/unlock feature. Nothing. Selected the various control buttons. Nothing. Replaced the dispenser’s light bulb. Nothing. Tried resetting things by disconnecting power and reconnecting after 30 seconds. Nothing. (Problem!) All other features of the refrigerator and freezer are working as they should. Time to replace the dispenser control board?
