Answer Debbie, Originally his unit was in the sabboth mode, but he continued to have an on going problem. Most of the control and display issues on that style unit are due to a failed or weak circuit on the main control board(in the back) The trick is, to order the correct part number based on the model and serial number( there are several main control boards) and the control board programming procedure.
