Cheryl for Model Number MFI2568AEB The water dispenser panel was clicking and flashing. I am assuming that the water dispenser board needs to be replaced. My question is does the board also regulate the temperature of the refrigerator and the freezer on the bottom of the frig? Or does is only control the ice maker and water that is dispensed?
Answer Cheryl, Yes, the 67006294 Lo Voltage Board does" regulate the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer" as well as control the dispenser operation. So if the display is clicking and flashing, then the lo voltage board is the place to start. However, if the dispenser ice chute door / flapper is opening and closing on it's own,, this is an indication that the circuits of the main control board(Hi Voltage board) in the back of the refrigerator has failed and it will need to be replaced.
