Kelly for Model Number MFI2568AES the part 67006294 is discontinued what other part do i need ? faceplate has no power.
Answer Hello Kelly, thank you for contacting Appliance Parts Pros. If the display is lit but the keypad is unresponsive you would need [W11221359] or the display board [67006294] has failed. If the display board isn't lit then voltage checks will need to be made to determine what has failed. If you remove the user interface from the door there should be a 4-pin, 4-wire connector with Black, Yellow, Red, and Pink wires on the board [67006294]. With the door closed you should be getting about 12 volts DC from Red-Black. If that voltage is present then the display board has failed. If that voltage is not present then we would need to check voltage at the main control board [W10890094] in the back of the unit. Here you would be looking for the J6 connector with Yellow, Black(possibly, only on some models), Blue, Pink, Red, and Black wires in that order. Again, Red-Black should have about 12 volts DC. If voltage is present here but not at the user interface then the wiring through the unit or the door has failed. If voltage is not present here, you likely have a bad main control or a bad door switch. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 31, 2024
