Kelli for Model Number MDE9316AYA When my dryer's cycle ends the buzzer will not stop until I open the door, When I have my dryer set to a time as soon as I close the door it turns on. I no longer have to push the button to start the dryer. From searching the internet It seems it is the Push to start switch has gone bad, I however, wanted more of a professional opinion before I went to buy one and end up finding out that wasn't the issue. Does my problem seem like it is the Push to start Switch and if so do you have them for my model? what I have pulled up here right now just looks like a button and not the switch that I'm assuming goes "behind the scenes" that the button attaches to?
Answer Hello Kelli, the switch can be checked using a multimeter and should show continuity only when pushed in, however, the part (33001618) is no longer available from the manufacturer. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 22, 2021
