George for Model Number georgey1947@gmail.com Can't remove inner cap on my kenmore washer. I'm afraid that I might brake the little plastic handle that is used to pull it off. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to loosen the cap?
Answer George, the inner cap is held in place by the large black "O" ring and pressure. You may want to try and drip liquid detergent or fabric softener around the edge of the inner cap. use a pair of pliers and grip the handle of the cap and lift and turn the cap carefully to limit the damage to the inner cap.
