Ron R. for Model Number MDE6700AYW The lint filter does not have a fiber gasket around the edge to collect the lint and to prevent lint from entering the exhaust ducting. Does the new lint filter come with a new gasket? Secondly, could I just buy the gasket material and install it on the existing filter? The gasket was not installed by the factory and arrived with the defective filter.
