Ron D. for Model Number kenmore 665 Hi There...The gear at the end of the motor is worn and wont drive the chopper, causing the screen to plug up and not pump much water. My question is...what will happen if I just remove the chopper and screen assembly all together so I at least get good water pressure again? Will the dishes be dirtier? will the impeller clog up? or will it risk plugging the drain line? I am going to try it and see what happens as we think that we will probabally buy a new dishwasher instead of fixing this piece of junk, but i was just curious what will be the likely senario to watch for...thanks in advance.
Answer Ron, All of the scenarios you mentioned will probably happen. But anticipate problems. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 29, 2014
