Harold W. for Model Number KitchenAid KUDS01DJSW0 I just cleaned the chopper filter to correct a cleaning quality issue. The assembly appears to be intact but the screen was clogged with fibrous food residue. However, it was mentioned in some of the answers that the shaft turning the chopper may be broken and it will require a motor replacement. Is there a way to determine if this shaft is broken?
