Piper Whirlpool quiet partner iv was making lots of noise on Last few washes, so I opened it up to check if chopper was blocked. The chopper was in pieces, with a spring and a grommet blocking the shaft of the motor. I was able to remove them. I have ordered a new chopper, but would like to know if it is advised to also open up the motor to see if any other pieces managed to make their way into that area. The pieces that I have are the screen, a rectangle washer type piece of plastic, a grommet (1 piece), a spring, a plastic shaft, and the blade. Am I missing anything? Thanks!
Answer Piper, No does not sound like you are missing anything and would simply just need to replace the chopper assembly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 11, 2016
