J.B. Maytag dishwasher sump chopper. The part I took out was a 4-blade and badly worn from hitting the screen. The blades were mostly worn away. The local appliance parts house only had the 2-bladed chopper. I needed to get it back together but now know I can get it apart in 10 minutes if I need to change to a 4-blade unit. Am I losing functionality or Is it okay to use that one?
Answer Hello J.B., I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to post a new question including the model number from your units' I.D. tag so we can recommend parts that can be guaranteed to work properly on your unit. If the part fit properly, you have most likely installed the new version of what you did have, but we can only be sure by looking up what is recommended for your design. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 2, 2016
