Jeff for Model Number KUDS30CXSS1 When I tried to replace the chopper assembly it looks like the old blade came in contact with the housing so the new one won’t sit properly. The slot where the screen sits is “chewed up” at about 6 to 9 o’clock on the motor housing and 12 to 3 o’clock on the cover. So it appears the old blade was oscillating because it was broken. The slot on the cover isn’t as bad as the motor housing and the slot is mostly intact. Is it possible to glue the edges of the screen to the motor assembly so I can get the cover on which I think will hold it in place. Any other thoughts other than replacing the motor?
Answer Jeff, It is unlikely that glue would hold the screen in place if the housing has broken where the slot is for the screen. This would require a sump housing for the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, November 29, 2018
