Db for Model Number GU3600XTSYO I'm replacing the chopper assembly. I found the blades and hardware damaged and laying in the bottom of the housing. The nylon at the blades is worn smooth and won't "keep" the clip. Two questions: Do I also have to the replace the impeller? And(2) If I'm just changing the chopper assembly, do I have to pull the motor to remove the old nylon connector and install the new; or can I do all this from the top side?
Answer Db, Yes, you can install the chopper and screen from the top. Its a tight work area, but can be done. I may be wrong, but if the chopper blade drive lug is worn that bad, I'd expect the impeller shaft to be worn as well. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
