Berkwood for Model Number KUDO1ILBL5 How do you get the cover off of chopper assembly. I took out the one screw but cover would not budge. Should extreme force be used.
Answer Berkwood, It should not be that difficult, unless theres some sort of build up on the housing. "3. Remove the screw securing the foreign object protector to the sump base and remove the protector 4. Remove the screw securing the inlet protector to the sump base and lift the inlet protector out 9 in some cases, the opposite side of the protector is "keyed" into a "slot" opposite the mounting screw. 5. Remove the chopper assembly from the impeller shaft and lift it from the sump base. 6. The check valve, located between the wash motor and the drain can be removed with a pair of needle nose pliers."
