Shaw for Model Number AP4260709 I have accessed the chopper and screen and when I pulled the case off, the chopper, the washer, and the metal tip were in the basin. The screen is very dirty but the plastic shaft is intact. Does the screen just need a good cleaning and then is there a way to put the chopper blade back on and put the washer and endcap back on? Or do I need to replace the entire part intact? Thank you!
Answer Hello Shaw. If the chopper W10083957V is good, and the screen is just dirty, then you can clean it and reinstall it. If the motor is dragging, it is best to replace the sump assembly with the motor. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 28, 2012
