Answer Mina, The "chopper" blade, is on one side of the screen. On the opposite side of the screen it should have the washer the spring, then the tqabbed end of the drive shaft, You should be able to move the shaft and chopper blade in and out of the screen. The tabbed end of the shaft assembly will be inserted into the pump housing, so the tabs alighn and meet the tabs in the center of the impeller, you'll need to slide the screen assembly into the housing at a slight angle with the smaller portion of the screen down towards the bottom of the housing.
