Eris for Model Number SVD 48600B I order the Electric Control Switch #71001799 for my Jenn-Aire dual fuel range. After 8 months it has failed again. I called and another one was promptly shipped. It has come in. Thank you for prompt service. My question is: This part replaced a factory switch which lasted 12 years. Why would the replacement part from the factory onlyt last 8 months? I am afraid I wasted my money on a part when I should have bought a new stove. What is your opinion? Is there another problem?
