This is an oven control board and clock manufactured by Whirlpool. It allows the user to adjust temperature, change oven function, set timers, and more. While the control board is designed to be durable, it can fail over time through exposure to moisture or high temperatures. When the oven control board begins to fail, it will not respond to user input, or may respond incorrectly. Replacing the control board is the only option to restore functionality. To replace it, turn off the power or unplug the oven. Remove the four screws holding the control board in place and disconnect the wires. Install the new board by following these steps in reverse. This is a genuine OEM part. It is sold individually, and fits Whirlpool, Roper, and Amana branded ovens.

Questions & Answers

For Whirlpool Oven Control Board (Part Number: OEM18032031)

1 Answer

Brain, Thanks for the question!!! To access the clock you would need to remove the control. This should be as easy as locating the screws holding it on. The connector J1 on the clock is the connection to the power relay board.

Hello Brian, the model/serial tag was usually located on the front frame struts that are on either side behind the lower access panel under the oven door.

Brian, it would be recommended that the wires are checked for any loose connections or bare spots. If the wires check good, then the next step would be to verify that a full 240VAC is reaching the terminal block by testing from the red wire with a meter probe to the black wire with the other meter probe. If there is 240VAC, the next step would be to identify if the cooling fan WP74004947 is receiving 120VAC to allow it to operate and keep the main control at an operational temperature. If it is receiving 120VAC but is not rotating, it has failed and would need to be replaced. If it is rotating then it is likely that the main relay control W10757086 is failing.

I have an older Jenn Air duel fuel down draft oven. The control panel LED has been off for years but the oven buttons worked. Last time is was turned on the oven overheated and went to beeping so I am sure there was some kind of fault that was on the broken LED. I pulled the power for a while and when I put power back on the oven came on but it would not let me turn it off. The off button beeped but nothing happened. The fan on/off worked but now I cannot turn the oven off. Does this sound like the control panel has finally quit. I have returned power several times since then with the same results. The number on the control panel is 100-0695-20.

Melissa, Check to make sure there are no loose connections or wires at the new ERC, also check the connections at the relay board on the back of the oven. If all's OK contact the AppliancePartsPros.com Customer Service Team ( 1-877-477-7278) and make arrangements for a replacement control board. Thanks,

PROBLEM both bake and broil heating coils do not work. Both have continuity. ALREADY REPLACED the digital control panel. None of the four buttons work. Bake, broil, convection bake, convection roast. This is what happens in all 4 modes. Set temp 400 than readout goes to preheat 100 degree's. Never moves coils are cold. Must also add never get a code and everything else works as it should. The clean cycle locks the door but no coil heat. Fan and all burners work as should. I hope this is a better explanation. What is the function of W10757086? Also function of 12001694?

1 Answer

Troy, You will want to test the oven sensor and wiring for the sensor for 1090 ohms of resistance at 77 degrees. If the resistance is off then the issue will be the sensor or wiring. If the resistance checks ok then the issue will be a possible faulty control board.
