Steve for Model Number mew6627baq I have a maytag double oven. The control panel/clock is very dim and the top oven doesn't seem to go on. Should I replace control panel, sensor, or both?
Answer Hello Steve. Test the elements and see if they are good. Should read closed for continuity. If so, and the control is not sending power to the unit, you will need to replace the control board WP71001872. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
