Craig March 15, 2025 for Model Number WW30430P On my WW30430P double wall oven I have a strange issue where the oven lights are on all of the time. I've replaced the relay board and the main circuit board (inside) with no luck. Could it be the control board (WP71001872) or possibly the touch panel/membrane?
1 Answer Hello Craig, thank you for contacting Appliance Parts Pros. If both ovens are still working and the only issue is that the oven lights stay on at all times I would suspect a failed relay board [74006613], this part is discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available for purchase. Steve September 19, 2022 for Model Number WW27430W Hi, When I power cycle my double wall oven the clock blinks, but upon any button being pushed, the screen goes blank and no further activity. Can cycle again, and same thing. Is this the control board? Would part WP71001872 be the correct replacement part? Thanks, Steve
1 Answer Steve, Yes, the control board will be the most likely cause for this issue and would be part number WP71001872. Read More...
Alex July 22, 2018 for Model Number Jen-Air WW2730 Need a clock control board, a capacitor puked. Your part number does not match mine, which is: Invensys 9-296-3 Date Code: 52-03 100-00696-01 CN: 8587P814-60 SN: 16931 04114 Do you believe yours will work? Also my oven number does not have any letters at the end, I double checked that. Many thanks.
Mike October 21, 2017 for Model Number WW27430W I am getting an error code F7 and followed the manuals' instructions and it still appears. Can you give me an idea what the problem might be?
1 Answer Hello Mike, The F7 Fault Code indicates a stuck key on the membrane switch WP74005748 which will have to be replaced to correct the issue. Read More...
Jeff September 27, 2017 for Model Number WW27430P Was awakened in the middle of the night to a beeping sound. Oven was beeping, display shows "F8". Is this likely caused by a bad Oven Control Board (Clock)?
1 Answer Hello Jeff, the error F8 refers to a shorted meat probe. You'll want to check the connections to the probe jack and the probe itself. If you were not using the meat probe or didn't have one connected at the time of the error, then yes you'll have to replace the board. Thanks! Read More...
Leonard July 27, 2016 for Model Number RF362LXSS0 I placed a new broiler element (the broiler was not heating up) form AppliancePartsPros only to find it still did not heat up. The Whirlpool tech, over the phone, said it is most likely the circuit board panel. Do you think this will correct it? The only other option would be a new oven (everything else works fine). The oven is 6 yrs. old. Thank you.
Don January 30, 2016 for Model Number GWE 4200 ACB wall over Lost the broil element, so I replaced it, only that didn't fix. Does this unit have more than one board? If so, which one do I need to replace to repair the broil function?
1 Answer Don, The control board for your unit would be part number 7601M320-60 but unfortunately has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. Read More...
Jon C December 23, 2015 for Model Number WW27430P Last night we self cleaned both the upper and lower ovens at the same time - didn't know we were not supposed to do that. Both ovens cleaned fine. Today, the upper oven works fine but the lower does not heat. Removed the bake element and tested it for continuity - it read 21 ohms. I have not tested the broil element. What do I try now? Light works in both ovens, controls appear to work, but for lower oven when we try to set bake temp it stays at 100 and does not even warm.
1 Answer Jon, The most likely cause for your unit to not heat in the lower oven would be a faulty lower relay control board. The part number for this board is 12001914. Read More...
Gregory December 18, 2015 for Model Number WW27430P The digital display on our double wall oven, which displays tmeperature, clock and two timers, has slowly dimmed and now is black. We can program a temperature and hear a beep when the temp. is reached, but there is no display. Is this caused by a bad control board? Greg
1 Answer Gregory, WIth the oven working but the clock being blank, this would be a clock issue which is part number WP71001872. Read More...
Mike November 09, 2015 for Model Number MEW6627BAB Our Maytag oven MEW6627BAB when last used made a crackling/sizzling sound was heard from the control panel followed by smoke. Power was disconnected. I took apart the control panel and did not notice anything until I removed the front clock/control board. The back of the circuit board showed evidence of some charring and possible solder melting on the back side bottom corner of the board. When powered back up the clock works but none of the oven functions work when selected (no elements heat up, convection fan does not activate, only the cooling fan for the control panel turns on when broil is selected - this is all true for both upper and lower oven). I assume that I am correct in that I need a new oven control board. However, should I be concerned that something else failed/faulted causing the control board to short? Any way to test for this?
1 Answer Hello Mike. Just make sure the wiring harness is good on the unit. If so, then you should just need to replace the control board. Read More...
