Dan B for Model Number Jennair WW30430P I recently replaced the control panel on my JennAir. It had always been dim and recently was displaying several different error codes and over heating. With the new control panel in place, the oven functioned fine for a couple of weeks, but now any entries for either the upper or lower oven causes the upper broiler element to come on and not turn off unless the power is cut at the breaker. Is this beyond a "do-it-yourself" fix?
Answer Hello Dan. It sounds like the relay board 74006613 is bad in the unit and needs to be replaced. Test and see if the relay is sticking. If so, replace the relay board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
