Del for Model Number ww27430P The clock was dimming so I bought a control board # 71001872 from Mel B off of Amazon for 113.00 for my jenn air double convection overn. I connected it. The clock looks great but now the touch pad keys do not function correctly. The bake on the top will not work but the bottom bake works but it will not cancel so I have to shut the oven off from the breaker. A few of the numbers do not work when pushed, (2, 9, 6). The oven light button works, the oven time or lock buttons work. Do you think that the control board is defective. An electrician came out and said the J1 and J2 harness are good. He thinks it might be the touch pad which are no longer available at all. I can only bake on the button oven but have to shut if off at the breaker. Any idea's. Should i order another control board.
Answer Hello Del, It does appear that it has to do with touch pad. You can disconnect the ribbon cable and make sure that there is no corrosion and make sure it is clean.
