Mark for Model Number ksra22ilss13 Hi. My refrigerator suddenly won't stop running. Cools reallyl well but freezer to negative 13 and refrigerator to 20's...measured with a Fluke meter. I've taken all apart; tested the thermocouples (both refrigerator and freezer). Both show continuity and respond to changes in temperature so I'm guessing is control board... ? Is there anything else I can check? Sticking relay perhaps? Thanks for your help!
Answer Hello Mark. You need to check and see if the thermistor WP2188819 is bad in the unit. If so, it will cause the issues you are having with the unit. It should read around 10K ohms at room temperature. If it is good, you will need to replace the control board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
