K Whirlpool duet washer had the F-DL code about 2 yrs ago, and was fixed by replacing the door lock part inside the tub. Now it happened again and a new door lock part was installed, but does not fix the problem. Is this now possibly due to a Central Control Unit issue?
Answer Hi K. Have you pressed pause /cancel 2x to reset? It will try to lock 6x before displaying the error. Check the wires from the door switch to the central control unit. If all is tight then you need to listen when you first press start do you hear a click? If there is no click then replace the C.C.U . part # is WP8182664. Thank you. Read More...
