Flint for Model Number ghw9400pwo

I have a whirlpool duet washer and have had a problem going on over a year. It gives f11 code. I have changed the mcu 2 times I have just got a new mcb today from appliance pros and when I installed it, I put it on spin drain and the pump started the drum turned, so i put all the covers back on and now i still get the f11 code. I had to wait on the card and the washer has been unplugged and it works the first time and the drum will turn and then it never moves again during diag test. What do you think. checked the motor it reads what it is suppose to. What could happen while unplugged. thanks flint

Answer

Flint, The F11 error code is a communication error between the CCU and MCU. You will want to c check the wire harness connections to the MCU, motor and CCU. Check the drive system for any worn or failed components. Verify CCU operation by running diagnostic test or any cycle. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor. Check the drive motor for powered rotation and check the serial harness at the MCU is not mounted upside down. The wires should be to the left when facing the MCU connectors.
