Wayne for Model Number mgr6775bdq Hello I checked gas valve when I turned on broiler setting,I had 3.3 at valve and when I tried bake setting 0 at gas valve. If igniter works on broil that should be good for bake. So I'm thinking bad gas valve, from earlier question you said weak igniter? If low voltage? Hope to hear from you soon.
Answer Hi Wayne. Tend to lean with a bad gas valve also. Just wanted you to check the igniter to see if it had a hairline crack /shipment. Is the gas valve ohmming out @ closed= .01 ohms or so? Coil resistence should be 0-ohms. Are you referring to 3.3 vac (ac volts?), or amps? You should get 3.2-3.6 amps at the gas valve, if not replace the igniter. Are you getting 120vac to the igniter terminals ? Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 6, 2011
