Myra for Model Number gsx9885jq0 I put the whole agitator on and tightened down the screw but the tabs still didn't lock and now I can't get the screw out. The top and bottom agitator are moving but the same way, I can't turn the clothes mover with my hand.
Answer Hello Myra. It sounds like the agitator bolt is cross threaded. If installed properly, it will compress the two pieces of the agitator 285565 and lock the tabs into place. You will need to try to hold the agitator and remove the bolt, and see if you can get it to thread into the tramsmission correctly. Hope this helps. Read More...
