Paul for Model Number WTW57ESVW0 Trying to service agitator by installing new cam kit. Can't get the bottom agitator lowered on the splined shaft and hold down bolt will not reach when assembling both halves of the agitator for reinstall. Any suggestions short of buying a new agitator assembly?
Answer Hello Paul, This sounds like you may have gotten the cam driven bearing or the cam itself mis-installed. I would dis-assemble it one more time to insure that the items are placed in the correct order and not upside down. Please don't take this the wrong way as experienced technicians make the mistake and have to go through the same process. Also the parts you put in should have looked like the ones you removed.
