Angie.S for Model Number KSCS25INSS00 2198597 - Hello, I just replaced this and the ice maker stopped working after 2 days. Fill valve works but motor won't turn. The freezer was making ice in the new icemaker and still makes ice in a stand alone tray. My temperature meter measured -2 degrees fahrenheit. I can short the L & V and hear the water valve and see water fill the tray but I don't hear the motor turning. Please Help
Answer Angie, On this unit, there will be what is known as an emitter and receiver board. When you open the door there is a light that should flash on the right side wall. When you push the flap on the left side wall, this led light should glow solid. If it does not and continues to flash then the emitter board is faulty and you will need part number W11629974.
