Rob for Model Number Kitchenaide model #KSRS25ILBL02 I replaced the ice maker unit and it isn't making ice. I replaced it because it leaked water from the unit. It has a door water dispenser and it works. Any ideas?
Answer Rob, You will want to check to make sure that your emitter board for the icemaker is working properly. When you open the freezer door you will want to see if the light on the right wall where the icemaker shut off is, if it is blinking. If it is the push in on the flapper on the left side without blocking the hole in the flapper. If the light continues to flash then you have a bad emitter board W11629974 and will need to be replaced. If it glows solid then it is ok. Read More...
