Answer Hello Cathy, The start relay is the part that makes both windings in the compressor energize at startup and disengages the start winding when the compressor has started. The specifications should be on the units' tech sheet. I'm sorry but the specifications relating to wattage are not listed in our library but are normally related to the compressor specifications since the compressor is the component that draws the amperage and consumes the wattage.
