Kip for Model Number ED25PEXHW01 My Whirlpool refrigerator doesn't cool. Purchased relay kit 8201799 to replace the relay and overload. The old relay has 3 male connectors and 3 wires (one red and two blue ones (capacitor?)) go to it. The new relay included in the new kit has only two connectors (positions 2 & 3) and there is no connector in position 1. I am searching internet to find the right relay but no success. Could you please help me find where I can buy one?
Answer Kip, The white on wire would go to the relay. The red would go to the overload. There should be 1 blue wire from one side of the cap and the other wire from the cap should be white. The white should be 2 white to 1 connector. The overload goes to the bottom with the red connected to it. The relay will go to the top 2 pins and the double white will go to the left side and the blue to the right side. It is possible for you to eliminate the capacitor if it cannot be connected.
