Carmen for Model Number ED25RFXFW02 I'm replacing the start device on the compressor for my Whirlpool refrigerator and have the correct part, however, the instructions refer to a blue wire which isn't present in my refrigerator. The instructions show to connect the white wire to the jumper provided in the kit then connect that to the PTC then connect red wire to the overload. It then says to connect the blue wire from "the capacitor or use terminal cover from kit" and connect to other prong in the PTC.
Answer Hello Carmen, The red wire goes to the overload, (small white part that attaches to the compressor first),and the white wire goes to terminal 3on the ptc relay.
