Butch for Model Number MBB2254GEW This is a Maytag bottom freezer that has gradually gotten warmer and warmer in both freezer and refrigerator compartments. I can hear the compressor and fans operating. I suspect the compressor has/is failing and will completely stop functioning. Can this compressor be replaced by DIY or must it be charged with refrigerant by a certified tech?
