Roger B for Model Number Kenmore/Whirlpool10670862990 The Refrigerator was made in 1999 and I'm worried it might be time to replace it. Rite now it works perfect but my question is when it shuts off you get a banging noise that comes from the compressor. You can also shake the compressor by hand and you can here something banging around inside. Is the compressor on it's way out. Since it still works perfect should I just ride it out or buy a new fridge before it goes bad and ruins my food. I don't want to replace the compressor on this old of a fridge.
