C.O for Model Number ET8WTEXVQ01 My Whirlpool Refrigerator (Model ET8WTEXVQ01) is not keeping the frig section cold, & I have to turn the thermostat to 4 1/2 for the freezer section to maintain freezing. Do I need to add Freon into the compressor or replace the compressor?
Answer C.O. You would want to check the frost pattern in the freezer on the evaporator coils. If the coils have a nice even frost pattern from the top to the bottom then the refrigerant would be ok.
