Richard for Model Number GR2FHTXV000 This Whirlpool (no ice maker) has a freezer temp of around -3F but the fridge won't get below 43F. Both settings are at max. I've cleaned the seals which helped. Purchased in 2008 so it's a little long in the tooth. Closing the freezer door I can hear air moving in which to me means a bad seal? What other options do I have as having both seals replaced costs more than the machine is worth!
Answer Richard, you can try to reform the seal to the cabin wall, but aside from that, either the gasket would need to be replaced or you may want to check to ensure that the door has not warped as a door warp can cause the same issue.
