Louie for Model Number ED2SHGXMT00 Bought a new Whirlpool fridge '03. '17 auger broke and tech replaced with a metal one, rather than plastic it first had. Well, a year later the ice container cracked on bottom, which I know is usual. Was the metal auger part of the issue and am I safe to transfer the metal auger to the new ice container I just purchased? Thank you.
