Thomas R Hastings , FL September 19, 2014 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator ED2CHQXKQ05 Just a ice bucket replacement (typical age cracked plastic) Well, I took it out (it slides out) to get a good look at it,so i could ref pictures on your site..naturally I had serial/model of refrig,and thats mandatory to get the right part. It came in 2 days,,and being just the bucket, it took only a few minutes to transfer the auger assembly/cube/crusher.... into the new one, 6 screws total..Your site has excellent vids on DIY.......I HIGHLY reccomend. Walt P Maypearl , TX May 02, 2015 Icemaker self destructed after 12 hr power failure following a storm ice melted particially down and jammed auger Required new ice bin (container) which has busted up in pieces from the stress of trying to turn while half melted ice had it jammed, something had to give. Ice auger ripped itself out of the dispenser end breaking the ice container. Got new container, disassembled per the drawing, reassembled.
