Thomas R Hastings , FL September 19, 2014 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator ED2CHQXKQ05 Just a ice bucket replacement (typical age cracked plastic) Well, I took it out (it slides out) to get a good look at it,so i could ref pictures on your site..naturally I had serial/model of refrig, and thats mandatory to get the right part. It came in 2 days,,and being just the bucket, it took only a few minutes to transfer the auger assembly/cube/crusher.... into the new one, 6 screws total..Your site has excellent vids on DIY.......I HIGHLY reccomend. Whole process was'nt over 15 minutes, piece of cake....And NOW i can go back to my nightly 'scotch n soda' highballs with 2 ice cubes ,lol (I ran an antique auto resto shop for 45 plus yrs, pre-1935, so tools and repair was a snap) Read More... 9 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Socket Set

Kristen L Tucson , AZ February 21, 2015 An oval shape broke out of the bottom of my ice bin making ice go all over my freezer when i used my ice maker I bought and replaced the ice bin, using the old auger, plastic cover and a plastic disk in the back that hold the auger in place. When putting the auger back in place, I did nerd another set of hands, and my husband helped with that. All you had to do was remove the screws and remember how it went back together. An easy fix. Didn't even need instructions, since I'm mechanically inclined. I figured I'd go to you tube if I couldn't figure it out in my own. Yes, I'm a female but I've been taking things apart and putting them together since I was about 5 years old. Read More...
