Dan for Model Number sg1000 When engaging the regular button on the control panel, the dryer runs for a nano second, stops then comes up with a code 6e. Fluff is the only mode that works. Is this action appear to be caused by the control panel?
Answer Hello Dan. The 6E code is for temperature control error (thermistor circuit fault or ambient temperature too cool). At room temperature the thermistor should read around 100,000 ohms. This should drop to around 18,000 ohms at 140°. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
