Mr. A. for Model Number SG1000 I have bought parts# AP4042232 (33001048) & AP4042232 (33001048) for my appliance. I want to know how they connect and go together. I have not taken my appliance apart yet. Can you tell me how to install this part. Can you tell me how this connection is made and what is the setup for this connection?
Answer Hi Mr. A. Remove all power to the unit. The control panel has 2- phillips screws in the lower lt. and rt. cforners. Once remove you will then fold the chrome panel up and off the front assembly. Then you will be able to see all the inter panel and control board screws. There is a flat ribbon cable that needs to gently fold back in and not pinch. The electrical plugs should be straight forward connections. Take pictures for reassemble as it can be challenging.
