Sm for Model Number SE1000 Following up on my previous question. (Thanks for the response btw) Would a broken thermistor or cycling thermostat actually cause the touchpad to go unresponsive? The SE1000 manual doesn't seem to indicate so. Shouldn't I still be able to run the self-diagnostics on the control board? (For instance, to get the 7E code again if the thermistor or cycling thermostat are indeed broken?) Thanks once again for your help.
Answer Hi SM. The parts you mentioned will cause a error code as we previously discussed. The touchpad unresponsive is because the ribbon cable not completely installed correctly? Is it pinched or misaligned in the clock connector? Try to find a potentiometer by the m.o.v. and slightly adjust it. Let us know as we can help if needed. Thank you. Read More...
