Geno for Model Number lse1000 I'm getting error code 7e. The last 2 items left to check are control board and cycling thermostat (regular) and control board. The thermistor I received from you'll I get no continuity reading ON 20K setting. You have been giving me xtremlly great service. However, How and What would the readings be for board and thermostat. I thank you all so much for your help. Sorry for the frustration I have.
Answer Hello Geno. There are a few things to check here. There is a spark gap 306130 that can cause the problems you have described and the thermistor 306056 can as well. The control board is the last thing to check. The spark gap can not really be tested, but if the machine has been shutting off before the end of the cycle, it is most likely the problem. Now for the 7e code, the thermistor is the most likely cause for this. You should get a reading between 50-300K ohms. If it is in range, then they suggest replacing the control board. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 19, 2011
