Eric for Model Number GBD307PDQ3 My display half of it went out, oven still worked for about three months. Then the dispay went out all the way still worked fine for awhile. Then the oven stopped working. All it does is beep when in use. Are the fuses bad? Should I just go ahead and replace the contrlo panel?
Answer Hello Eric. You can test the thermal cut off WP9759243. It should read closed for continuity. If it is open, you will need to replace it. If it is good, then you will need to test and see if the control board 8302967 is sending power to the elements. If not, then you will need to replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
