Darrin for Model Number GBD307PDS7 Hello. First, thank you for your great service. I've been using Applicance Parts Pros for a while now and you guys are very helpful. I have a 17 year old Whirlpool Double Oven and have replaced the control panel assembly. The oven, over the course of the last few months, intermittently will shut off or the clock will stop working or all the light displays on the panel turn on, or a PF code shows up, and today all I get is the beep but no display on the panel. I can't turn on the oven. In looking at the control board, I notice what appear to be heated dark spots in random places. Is there a way for me to test if the control board is bad? Does it sound like the control board is the issue? I noticed this part is discontinued. I see there are refurbished control boards online but I don't see any new ones. If I don't replace with a refurbished control board, I assume the only other option is purchasing a new oven?? Thanks for the help.
Answer Darrin, Based on the information you have provided it does sound like a board issue, with the beeping noise but no lights show you have power without proper responses. With the board being discontinued the options I see are the refurbished board if available or a new oven as you stated. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 5, 2020
