John for Model Number GBD307PDQ7 I need to replace the control panel on my Whirlpool double oven, model #GBD307PDQ7. The part number for the control panel is 8302967. Here's my problem: I can't disconnect the two power supply connectors off the old one (they're black with orange and gray wires going into them). All other connectors come off the control panel just fine, but these two won't budge. I'm not seeing any sort of tab that needs to be pressed on them. Am I missing something? Has anyone else had problems pulling these connectors off? I don't want to damage them, because if they break then I'm afraid I'll have to replace the whole oven. Any advice?
Answer John, It sounds like the P24 harness connector may have seized to the pin connector on the board. You may need to use a small flat blade screwdriver and lift or pry up on the harness connector until you get it loose enough to remove. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
