Mike for Model Number GBD307PDQ3 A couple of months ago I replaced the control board. The oven started working. But now it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to heat up. I switched the heating element with the bottom and it seems a little better but still only heats to about 250 in the 6 minute pre-heat. I checked the temperature calibration and left it at 0. I also checked the cavity size and it is set at 30". Is there something else I am missing? Or is there another problem?
Answer Hello Mike, This sounds like the unit is only getting 120Vac instead of the 240Vac it is designed for. I would first flip the breaker off and back on. If that doesn't do it, check the connections in the junction box where the power is connected to the unit. I've seen wire nuts melt away to nothing from heat produced form a poor electrical connection. If this isn't it, it's probably a bad relay on the control board 8302967. Read More...
