Dave R. for Model Number GBD277PDQ7 This is a double oven. The oven has power but no display. Beeps when buttons are pressed to attempt settings. Lights in oven work fine. Cycled the circuit breaker but no change. Is there a fuse on a circuit board that can be changed? Your advise? Thank You!
Answer Hello Dave. Yes, there is a thermal fuse WP4451042. It is located in the wiring harness going to the control board. If it is closed for continuity it is good, and you will need to replace the control board. If it is open, you will need to replace the fuse. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
